HOOSY, MADAGASCAR - The peculiarity of this crystal is not the size (which is not bad) but the color. In fact this fully biterminated corundum is 2 cm long and shows an incredible blue/violet color ! Corundum with such a color ar not so common, especially on matrix. Very nice display for this 6x4x3 cm specimen.

HOOSY, MADAGASCAR - A perfectly terminated bright red corundum crystal emerges from the mica of this sock. The crystal is 1.7 cm long and shows nicely on the dark matrix. Overall size of this specimen is 4.5x2.5x2.5 cm.
