HOOSY, MADAGASCAR - Greatly terminated corundum on mica matrix. The crystal hasnice bright red color and is fully terminated. The corundum is 1.1x0.7x0.5 cm in size ! Very showy 3.2x1.7x1.5 cm specimen.

HOOSY, MADAGASCAR - The peculiarity of this crystal is not the size (which is not bad) but the color. In fact this fully biterminated corundum is 1.6 cm long and shows an incredible blue/violet color ! Corundum with such a color ar not so common, especially on matrix. Very nice display for this 3.5x3.5x cm specimen.
