Sulfur from the old sulfur mines in Sicily, Italy
 

Just arrived from Sicily ! a very nice flat of crystalline sulfur, bright yellow color and nice terminated crystals. The size of the specimens is in around 3x3 3x3.5 cm and the some of the rocks show crystals up to 1 cm ! These are not the giant, bright yellow crystals you might see in other pages of this site (page 1 ) but have real nice prices ! some of the specimens show natural bitumen on. It can be easily removed with a solvent if you do not like its color or aroma !

ITA-A133 CELESTINE FLORISTELLA MINE, ENNA, SICILY  - A rare to find specimen. This mine is now floaded, it was closed more than 30 years ago. This rock hosts terminated celestine crystals around 2 cm, with some sulfur on the matrix. Nice 3.5x3x3 cm rock. € 20
