VESUVIANITE & GROSSULARIA
PITIGLIANO QUARRY, GROSSETO, ITALY - Nice and rare since this quarry is no
longer existing ! A quite rich specimen of 5x4x4,5 cm with nicely terminated
vesuvianites up to 1-1.2 cm with several grossularia crystals up to 2 mm.

OSUMILITE
MARRUBIU QUARRY, ORISTANO, ITALY - Very nice osumilite crystals up to
2 mm in size are on this rock. They show some partial red coverage due to
oxidation but are bright black where exposed. Overall size is 6X6X2.5 cm.
Some red biotite also.
