SULFUR on marble

COLONNATA QUARRY, APUANE ALPS, CARRARA, ITALY - Sulfides are relatively common on marble but in some cases sulfur crystallizes perfectly ! This is the case: a perfectly terminated sulfur of 0.7 cm shows on the marble ! The color is great. No damage ! overall size is 7x6.5x4.5 cm.

SULVANITE on marble

VAL PULITA, APUANE ALPS, CARRARA, ITALY - Sulvanite is a very rare to find sulfide, especially on the white marbles of Apuane Alps. This specimen hosts a typical bronze in color cubic crystal of sulvanite of 0.2x0.3 cm in size ! Overall size of this rock is 4x4.5x2.7 cm.
