Benitoite is the official California mineral ! real nice and rare mineral that shows up on the matrix. The crystals of benitoite show the typical triangular shape, with a nice blue color, quite often they are associated with benitoite that has a dark red color. Here you can see a nice selection of the latest specimen we have cleaned and prepared for you to see. The san benito Gem mine is now closed ... no more specimens will be available for many years to come ... I have some specimens to clean, so there will be more to come in the next weeks !
