GREEN FLUORITE

Riemvasmaak, Northern Cape, South Africa - Very nice green fluorite specimen from the last finding in South Africa ! This is the last specimen I have at present available. It shows a very nice cluster of cubo-octahedral gemmy crystals of green fluorite of 0.8-1 cm on the edge. The whole cluster is 2.5x2 cm wide ! What makes this rock interesting is the fact that the whole specimen is composed by TERMINATED fluorites, covered by quartz crystals ! very nice specimen of 6.5x6.5x4 cm.

AZURITE

Phelps Dodge Mine, Morenci, Arizona, USA - Very nice coating of deep blue bright spheroids of azurite ! The spheroid are up to 1 cm in diameter and are covering a large part of the surface of the specimen ! Overall size is 7.5x6x3.5 cm.

BARITE

Cerro Warihuayn Miraflores, Huamalies Pr., Huanaco Dept., Peru - Large terminated barite crystal of 2.7x2.6 cm in size with nice phantoms due to the growing of the crystal. Showy ! Thre are other barites close to the base of the main crystal up to the size of 1.5-2 cm. Overall size is 4.5x4x3.5 cm.

CALCITE and CHALCOPYRITE

Sweetwater Mine, Viburnum Trend, Reynolds Co., Missouri, USA - This specimen hosts several biterminated scalenohedral crystals of calcite of 2.5-3 cm in size. All are terminated and sit on a micro crystalline matrix of chalcopyrite. Overall size is 4.5x4x2 cm.

CALCITE and MARCASITE

Conco mine, North Aurora, Illinois, USA - Bright coating of schalenohedral calcite crystals with some marcasite coverage and inclusion. Several calcites are biterminated and up to 2 cm in size. There are more than 2 dozens crystals here. Overall size is 6.5x6x2.5 cm.

ALMANDINE GARNET

Bric Camulà, Genova, Italy - This specimen is from one of the typical italian localities producing almandine garnets. This rock hosts various almandine of 0.5-0.7 cm in diameter with abright dark red color. There is some clorite coating also. Nice rock of 7x4x3 cm.

SCHORLITE

Dassu, Skardu Road, Pakistan - Large and perfectly terminated schorlite crystal on a small pegmatite matrix ! The crystal is undamaged and 3.8x2x2 cm in size. Showy rapresentative specimen of 5x3.5x3.5 cm.

QUARTZ and SPESSARTINE

Tongbei, Fujian Prov., China - The specimen is nicely formed by several terminated smoky quartz crystals up to 5 cm in size ! There are also several spessartines all around the rock, nicely nested on the quartz. The spessartines are up to 0.5-0.7 cm in diameter. Overall size is 5.7x5x5 cm.

Guizhou, Cina - Cluster of undamaged biterminated quartz crystals ! The quartzes are up to 3.5 cm in length, real showy ! Oaverall size of this rock is 5.2x4.5x2.5 cm.

APOPHYLLITE and STILBITE

Jalgaon, Maharastra Dept., India - Showy cluster of pink stilbite crystals up to the size of 3 cm intergrown with some apophyllites ! The apophyllites show a light green color in the inner part of the crystal. The largest apophyllite is 6.5 cm in size and is biterminated ! overall size is 7x6.5x5 cm.

APOPHYLLITE and STILBITE

Jalgaon, Maharastra Dept., India - This specimen hosts 2 perfectly biterminated apophyllite crystal of 6 and 4.7 cm in size, with great luster and brightness ! There are also a lot of light pink stilbite crystals up to 1-1.5 cm. No damage. Overall size is 8.6x3.5x3.5 cm.

AMETHYST QUARTZ and CHALCOPYRITE

Sant'Eulalia, Mexico - This mine is well known for the great variety of minerals. This specimen shows a nice cluster of terminated amethyst quartz crystals up to 3 cm !! The quartz are standing up from a matrix entirely composed by oxidated crystalline chalcopyrite ! real showy rock of 6x6x3.5 cm.
