NUXIS, RIO BACHERA, CAGLIARI, ITALY - Very nice cluster of golden baryte ! The cluster is composed by 5 well terminated baryte crystals up to 3.8x2 cm in size ! Classic finding of 2010. Overall size is 5x4.5x2.8 cm. Weight is 90 gr.

Alpe delle Frasse, Laietto, Val Susa, Torino, Italy - Bright deep red hessonite crystals with clinochlore tiny crystals show up on this rock. The color of the hessonites is very classic ! Their size is up to 0.5 cm ! Overall size is 4.5x2x2 cm. Weight is 40 gr.

Colonnata quarry, Apuane Alps, Carrara, Italy - A great rare combination from the marble quarries of Apyane Alps ! This specimen hosts a well shaped sulfur crystal of 0.9 cm in size and all around there are bright quartz crystals as well as calcite and dolomite crystals ! The quartzes are up to 1 cm ! a super classic but rare specimen from Apuane Alps. Overall size is 9x8x4.3 cm. Weight is 316 gr.

San Giovanni Mine, Punta della Torre, Iglesias, Carbonia-Iglesias Province, Sardinia, Italy - An esthetic specimen of calcite from this famous mine. The specimen hosts a great amount of bright calcite crystals, grouped forming clusters ! Very nice and typical from San Giovanni mine. Overall size is 13x8x6 cm. Weight is 515 gr.

FLORISTELLA MINE, ENNA, SICILY, ITALY - A great old timer ! This specimen hosts a great abundance of celestine crystals grouped in clusters showing complex terminations ! I count one hundred crystakls or so ! The crystals are up to 2-2.7 cm in size ! The matrix shows wel evident traces of sulfur. An interesting specimen from a mine no more producing specimens. In fact this one is from an old collection recently aquired. Overall size is 11x11x6 cm. Weight is 1.6 kg

Luishia Mine, Kambove, Haut-Katanga, DR Congo - A nice bright green mass of wonderful malachite in a flowing bubbly display. A few minor scratches and tiny hairline crack but a very tactile specimen. Overall size is 6.1 × 7.1 × 2.9 cm. Weight is 200 gr.

La Morita mine, Chihuahua, Mexico - Nice wulfenite crystals with nice orange color show up on this rock. The wulfenites are nicely located on the carbonate matrix and the largest wulfenite is 1.4 cm on the edge ! there are a lot of other wulfenites all around ! there are more than a dozen crystals here ! Overall size is 3.5x3x2.4 cm. Weight is 45 gr.

Erongo Mountains, Karibib, Erongo Region, Namibia - A single perfect striated blue aquamarine crystal shows up on a small mass of small irregular orthoclase crystals. The exposed crystal measures to 4 cm in size !! Great color and very fine specimen from this well known locality. This specimen has been collcrted in 1996. Overall size is 4 × 3.1 × 2.4 cm. Weight is 42 gr

Baia Sprie Mine, Baia Sprie, Romania - A sulphide covered matrix with abundant chalcopyrite sphalerite and galena has a pair of black wolframite crystals on top, with two generations of calcite covering. The main crystal is 1.2 cm in size. Woframite was found along with scheelite in the late 1990s - this is quite typical of the habit. The crystals are not that well terminated. Overall size is 5.5x3x2 cm.

ZOGNO MINE, VAL BREMBANA, BERGAMO, ITALY - This mine is very famous for the well shaped violet fluorite cubes that produced in the past. Now the mine is closed. This specimen is from an old collection. The specimen hosts violet fluorite cube of fluorite of 1 cm on the edge and has etching on one corner on the back. The fluorite sits on a carpet of tint waterclear quartz crystals. Overall size is 9x5.5x3.5 cm. Weight is 200 gr.
