Facciatoia, San Piero, Isola Elba, Livorno, Italy - An old specimen from the historical quarry of Facciatoia, now defunct. There is a 0.4 cm terminated pink/red elbaite inside a cavity of the pegmatite vein. Lot of quartz crystals all around and a grey orthoclase. The grey color is a classic for Facciatoia. Overall size is 5x4.5x3.5 cm

Grotta d'Oggi, San Piero, Isola Elba, Livorno, Italy - An old and very peculiar specimen since there are several 2-4 mm spessartines located on the faces of the feldspar crystals partly covered by waterclear quartz crystals. Nice specimen of 4.5x2.5x2.5 cm in size

San Piero, Isola Elba, Livorno, Italy - Nice plate of bright white feldspars and bright black schorls. There a lot of schorls nicely grouped on several termianted feldspars. The schorls are up to 1 cm and most of them are terminated. A classic from the Elba pegmatite areas. Overall size is 7x3.5x2.5 cm

San Piero, Isola Elba, Livorno, Italy - A very nice couple of terminated elbaites show on this specimen. The main elbaite is terminated and 1.4 cm in size. It shows green athe base and light pink in the upper part of the crystal. The other elbaite, on the left, is terminated and almost gemmy ! the color is light pink and the size is almost 1 cm ! around there are some terminated quartz crystals. 2010 personal finding. Overall size is 5x5x3.7 cm

Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, China - Bright dark brown andradite crystals nicely grouped forming clusters. The specimen shows a dozen andradites up to 1-1.5 cm in diameter ! Nice rock of 4x3x3 cm

Campiglia Marittima, Livorno Province, Tuscany, Italy - Small black terminations of stand around a small amount of quartz matrix with a few isolated crystals of quartz. The quartz crystals are unfortunately broken for the most part with a few nicks to the ilvaite but plenty of very good crystals on display. The ilvaites are 0.5 cm in size. Overall size is 3.4 × 2.7 × 1.9 cm

ROCCAMONFINA, CASERTA, ITALY - There are a couple of leucite crystals of 1.3-1.6 cm on this rock.  A classic from the magmatic deposits of the italian desposit close to Caserta vulcanic area. Overall size is  5x5x3.5 cm

35POLLONE MINE, LUCCA, ITALY - Very nice cluster of amber-in-color quartz crystals. The main crystal is 5x3.5x3 cm and is biterminated. Also the other quartzes are biterminated and up to 2.5 cm in size ! Overall size is 5x4.5x3 cm

POLLONE MINE, LUCCA, ITALY - Nice brigth waterclear quartzes, terminated, with some 2-4 mm baryte crystals, white in color. Classic from Pollone mine, Lucca, Italy. The quartz crystals are 1.5-1.7 cm in size. Overall size is 4x3x1 cm
