Pune, Maharashtra, India - Apophyllite is a classic zeolite mineral produced in the world famous basalt quarries of Maharashtra, India. This specimen is a large plate completely covered by colorless waterclear apophyllite crystals. Pitigliano quarry, Grosseto, Tuscany, Italy - An old specimen probably from late 80ies when the quarry was still operating. The rock is entirely composed by a grossular rich matrix that hosts a large vesuvianite crystal. The vesuvianite is 1x0.5x1 cm in size and stands on the edge of a cavity filled by 1-2 mm grossular crystals. Overall size is 6.5c5.5x4 cm.

Fu Jian Province, China - A large amount of bright violet  gemmy fluorite crystals show up on this rock ! There are various dozen crystals from 0.5 to 1 cm forming bright clusters ! Very esthetic ! Overall size is 8x5.5x3.8 cm. Weight is 186 gr.

Colavi Mine, Colavi subdistrict, Potosí, Bolivia - A very good example of the very rare Antimony Oxide, Valentinite. The specimen has sharp prismatic crystals of Valentinite atop massive Galena up to 0.6 cm. Minor chips here and there, but still a good example of a very rare species. Overall size is 2.1 x 2.0 x 1.7 cm.

Iglesias, Carbonia-Iglesias Province, Sardinia, Italy - Sculptural group of copper-rich aragonite with the classic delicate blue color. The aggregate consists of several sprays of elongated calcite, usually diverging as either a papillon (bowtie) of arrange in a semiparallel, artichoke fashion, then locally covered by a number of curvy coralloid aragonite crystallized wires. Quite a sought-after classic from this prolific mining district, now long defunct. Overall size is 7.6 × 5.1 × 4.5 cm. Weight is 70 gr. Ex Lehmann (CH) collection. Qiaojia, Zhaotong Prefecture,Yunnan Province, China - Very nice well shape undamaged babingtonite crystal of 0.9 cm on the edge ! The crystal is nicely located on a coating of prhenite, light green in color. There is an othe 0.5 cm crystal on the right of the rock and many tiny black ones dispersed on the prhenite. On the other side the rock has a a nice amount of quartz crystals with prhenite . Overall size is 5x4.8x3 cm. Weight is 110 gr.

Sakavalana pegmatite, located 25 km south of the village of Mandosonoro, SW of Antsirabe, Fianarantsoa province, Madagascar - Very rich specimen ! There are a lot of pezzottaite crystals up to 0.3 cm and all are nicely located on the large albite crystals. The pezzottaites show a nice bright gemmy pink color. Very esthetitc. Overall size is 4.5x4x3 cm.
