Elk Creek, Meade Co., South Dakota, USA - A very esthetic baryte specimen. There are various baryte crystals here. The main one are 3.2 and 2.8 cm in size. Fully terminated the barytes show a beautiful honey color, and are gemmy ! There are a couple of smaller crystals. The barytes stand on a carpet of yellow calcite, fluorescent under UV. Overall size is 6.5x5.5x5 cm. Weight is 235 gr.

Sweetwater Mine, Viburnum Trend District, Reynolds Co., Missouri, USA - Glassy yellow mostly gemmy prismatic, double terminated, crystals of calcite measuring to 5.3 cm in length set nicely upon matrix. One cleaved crystal termination at the extreme far right edge of the matrix, this away from the piece, as seen. The prominent crystal is in excellent condition. Measures 9.0 x 5.0 x 3.0 cm.

Loralai, Baluchistan, Pakistan - A very nice fluorite specimen with  a dozen violet fluorite cubes nicely compenetrated one with the others. The fluorites are up to 1.5 cm on the edge and the calcites are up to 1.6 cm. Some of them are biterminated ! overall size is 5x4x2.2 cm. Ex Ikram Mineralogy collection.

Sweetwater Mine, Viburnum Trend District, Reynolds Co., Missouri, USA - Glassy prismatic, terminated, crystals of calcite measuring to 2.5 cm in length set nicely upon matrix. There are various calcite crystals forming a cluster. Incomplete the crystals at the lower part of the cluster but very nice the whole complex. A classic from this locality. Measures 7.0 x 4.0 x 4.0 cm.

San Leone Mine, Assemini, Cagliari Province, Sardinia, Italy - A classic from this mine. This specimen is composed by a cluster of lenticolar calcite crystals to 2.4 cm in size, partly covered by limonite ! There are a lot of crystals ! On the top there is a bright partly gemmy calcite of 1.4 cm wide ! nice specimen of 8.5 × 6.2 × 3 cm. Weight is 200 gr.

Iglesias, Carbonia-Iglesias Province, Sardinia, Italy - Sculptural group of copper-rich aragonite with the classic delicate blue color. The aggregate consists of several sprays of elongated calcite, usually diverging as either a papillon (bowtie) of arrange in a semiparallel, artichoke fashion, then locally covered by a number of curvy coralloid aragonite crystallized wires. Quite a sought-after classic from this prolific mining district, now long defunct. Overall size is 7.6 × 5.1 × 4.5 cm. Weight is 70 gr. Ex Lehmann (CH) collection. Fengjiashan Mine, Daye Co., Hubei Province, China - Attractive pink crystallized in a site covering an area approximately 3.0 x 3.0 cm in size nice on the front side of a 5.0 x 5.0 x 4.0 cm crystallized calcite matrix. In good condition as seen with minimal micro-chipping, this is richly crystallized for the species. Brown micro hubeite present as well. Sits beautifully by itself for display, this upon a sawn base. Overall size is 5.0 x 5.0 x 4.0 cm. Weight is 88 gr

Kimbedi, Mindouli District, Pool Region, Congo (Republic) - Green crystals studded with small balls of yellow mimetite. There are several crystals of dioptase on this rock ! Their size is up to 0.9 cm ! Overall size is 6.5x3.5x2 cm. Weight is 50 gr

NChwaning II Mine, Kuruman, North Cape Province, South Africa - Very nice and rich specimen of calcite crystals ! The crystal on the back are light pink. In the average the calcites are up to 1 cm and they form nice clusters that emerge from the specimen. The whole specimen shows a very nice fluorescence under UV ! Overall size is 10x8x3 cm.  Weight is 225 gr.

Sweetwater  Mine, Missouri, USA - Colorless to very pale yellowish translucent semi-lustrous prismatic crystals of calcite to 3.7 cm in length set attractively over the top of a 9.5 x 5.5 x 5.0 cm pyrite, chalcopyrite, and dolomite crystal matrix. Very minimal micro-cleaving present, this is in very good condition and sits very nicely by itself for display.
