CRUZEIRO MINE, MINAS GERAIS, BRAZIL - Bright green elbaites show up on this specimen with a lot of cleavelandite spheroids on an albite matrix. The elbaites show a nice bright green color and are up to 3 cm in size ! Classic from Brazil. Overall size is  10x8x2.4 cm. weight is 177 gr.

Beni Bouzra, Chefchaouen Province, Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Region, Morocco - Morocco has recently offered a nice variety of elbaite crystals on matrix. Here we have a specimen hosting several red elbaites, var rubellite. The main one is terminated and 1.4 cm in size ! all around there are several other elbaites and some of them are terminated or some other recrystallized. Nice quartz points also, up to 1.5-2 cm in size and biterminated. There is hyalite coating on some crystals. Overall size is 5.8x3.5x3.5 cm. Weight is 80 gr.

San Piero, Isola Elba, Livorno, Italy - Greatly terminated elbaite crystal nicely located on orthoclase small piece of matrix. The crystal shows greatly with nice change of color close to the top where it is with a light violet. The crystal is 1.7 cm in size !

Stak Nala, Northern Areas, Pakistan - An immaculate single termination of classic Stak Nala elbaite part shrouded with cleavlandite. The termination clear to pinkish blue at the very tip altering to olive green then dark green within the crystal. The elbaite is 2.1 cm in size. Overall size of the specimen is 2.8x2.5x2 cm

Stak Nala, Skardu District, Pakistan - Double terminated elbaite attached to a book of cleavelandite. The crystal is undamaged and 3.2 cm long ! it shows a light yellow on one end and green on the other. There is a smaller 1.3 cm terminated elbaite on a side. Overall size is 4.7x2.5x2 cm

San Piero, Isola Elba, Livorno, Italy - A super combination specimen ! This specimen hosts 3 well shaped terminated elbaites with a nice yellow color at the base. Their size is up to 1 cm. One of them has the top termination partly joint with a small light pink beryl var morganite, around 0.4 cm in size, biterminated. Not so common to find ! overall size is 7x6.5x4 cm

Pakistan - There is a large terminated elbaite crystal located close to large quartz crystals. The elbaite shows a dark green color and has indicolite color close to the top. The quartz crystals are up to 4.7 cm in size ! Nice specimen of 5x4x3 cm

Stak Nala, Northern Areas, Pakistan - Well terminated gemmy lustrous elbaite crystal stands on  terminated quartz crystals. No damage to the elbaite ! The crystal shows a green color at the base and perfectly clear close to the top. It is 1 cm in size. Nice specimen of 5x4.5x2.5 cm in size

Minas Gerais, Brazil - A very nice and esthetic specimen ! A quartz point, perfectly terminated hosts a couple of bright green elbaites that emerge from the quartz crystal. A third elbaite is completely frozen inside the quartz. Real nice and peculiar Brazilian specimen of 3.5x2.5x2.5 cm in size. Weight is 20 gr.
