Tasna mine, Rosario section of Cerro Tasna, Nor Chichas Province, Potosi Department, Bolivia - This material was some of the first Augelite to come out of Bolivia in a long time when it hit the market in the early 2000's. This piece features several sharp, highly lustrous, gemmy crystals of Augelite measuring up to 7 mm associated with greenish-brown compressed rhombohedra of Siderite with lustrous octahedral Pyrite on micro Quartz matrix. This is definitely one of the showier specimens of Augelite we've offered from Tasna, in a while as many of them are just lumps. It's a very good quality piece for the species, and the associations make it very desirable for collectors.
