SAN PIERO, ISOLA ELBA, LIVORNO, ITALY - Nice reference specimen from the pegmatite areas of Isola Elba, Italy ! The specimen has some tiny (2-3 mm) elbaites located on quartz and orthoclase crystals. The feldspars are up to 1 cm on the edge. Overall size is 3.5x3x2.5 cm

Pakistan - There is a large terminated elbaite crystal located close to large quartz crystals. The elbaite shows a dark green color and has indicolite color close to the top. The quartz crystals are up to 4.7 cm in size ! Nice specimen of 5x4x3 cm

Minas gerais, Brazil - Nice terminated green tourmaline shows up on a partial feldspar crystal. The tourmaline is 1 cm in size. Overall size is 4.5x4x1.3 cm

Ibit Valley, Madagascar - Cluster of green/yellow elbaites composed by crystals up to the size of 2 cm ! Overall size is 2.2x18x1.5 cm

Gilgit, Northern Areas, Pakistan - Nice bright spessartine are located on a quartz crystal close to a terminated 2 cm schorl. The spessartines are up to 0.5 cm in diameter. Overall size is 3.3 × 2.4 × 2.1 cm

Brumado, Bahia, Brazil - A nice uvite crystal shows on this quartz and magnesite matrix. The uvite has a great green color and it is 0.9 cm in size. The crystal is gemmy and is very esthetic. Overall size is 3x2x1.5 cm

Northern Areas, Pakistan - There are a couple of elbaites but only one is terminated. The size of the main crystal is 2 cm and shows a nice green color close to the top ! Overall size of the specimen is 2.8x2.5x2 cm

Stak Nala, Northern Areas, Pakistan - An immaculate single termination of classic Stak Nala elbaite part shrouded with cleavlandite. The termination clear to pinkish blue at the very tip altering to olive green then dark green within the crystal. The elbaite is 2.1 cm in size. Overall size of the specimen is 2.8x2.5x2 cm

Chamachu, Baltistan, Pakistan - A single crystal of indicolite of 1.9 cm in size emerges from a surround of cleavelandite and presses up against a large book of mica. The indicolite is a deep blue colour with lighter blue colour at the end. The termination is not clean rather a stunted mottled finish. Undamaged. Overall size is 4.3x3x2 cm
