Grotta d'Oggi, San Piero, Isola Elba, Livorno, Italy - An old specimen from a german collection. This specimen is characterized by a biterminated quartz crystal of 2 cm in length with a lot of albite cluster all around it and among them there are a couple of perfectly terminated multicolor elbaites up to 0.6 cm in size. There are also some brown millimetric microlites, beryls dispersed among the albites and the books of cleavelandite. Very nice old timer of 5x4x2.5 cm.

The most evident is the one grown on a quartz crystal ! This elbaite is 0.5 cm in size and has close to it an other that is 0.8 cm ! some light pink feldspar complete the picture of the cavity. We had been lucky this time and we got 2 perfectly terminated acroites with such Moor's head ! very nice terminated crystals of 1 cm in size nicely located in an open cavity close to a white feldspar crystal of 2 cm in size. Nice rock of 7x7x4 cm in size

San Piero, Isola Elba, Livorno, Italy - An old specimen, collected at the beginning of 1900, probably from Grotta d'Oggi area. It hosts 2 perfectly terminated and undamaged polichrome elbaites of 1 and 1.7 cm in size !There are various quartz crystals and one is located in between the 2 elbaites. On the back there are the various collection numbers. It comes with the old label (german collection). Overall size is 6.5x5.5x3 cm

Forcioni dike, Sant Ilario, Isola Elba, Livorno, Italy - A spectacular specimen from one of the best elbaite findings of the early 90ies. This specimen hosts a perfectly terminated and undamaged multicolor elbaite 1.7 cm in size. The colors are spectacular ! there is an other multicolor elbaite of 1.6 cm on the left ! and a couple of smaller ones are inside the small cavity where the main crystal is located. Lot of other minerals such as lepidolite, ortoclase and albite. A great showy specimen of 7x5.5x5 cm in size
