Tsumeb Mine, Otavi Highlands, Namibia - Numerous egg-yolk-yellow elongeted crystals of mimetite perched on similar coloured glistening smithsonite. The mimetites are up to 0.7 cm and show as razor sharp, high lustrous and hexagonal in cross-section. The smithsonite is also sharp edged and becomes a greyish to pale pinkish colour in its periphery. Overall size is  3.4 × 2.8 × 3.3 cm. Ex Wendel Minerals collection

Merelani Hills, Arusha Region, Tanzania - A single crystal of tanzanite with a faint brown colour and graphite inclusions within. When viewed side on it displays the more typical blue/purple colour. Overall size is 1.5x0.7x0.4 cm

TSUMEB MINE, TSUMEB, NAMIBIA - Light pink smithsonite crystals show up on this specimen. The crystals are dispersed on the dark matrix and are up to 1.5 cm long ! Great specimen from this defunct locality. Overall size is 4.5x5x2.5 cm.

MOUNT MALOSA, MALAWI, AFRICA -  An other great specimen. This rock hosts a carpet of egirina crystals dominated by a cluster of nicely terminated egirinas up to 2 cm in size. At the basis of the specimen there are a lot of millimetric zircons ! Overall size of this specimen is 3.5x3x3 cm

Nchwaning #2 mine, Kuruman, South Africa - An uncommon classic from this famous locality of South Africa. The specimen hosts a cluter of sturmanite crystals 2.2 cm wide ! The sturmanites are 1.5 cm in size and show the classic amber/dark color. Overall size is 4.5x4x2 cm.

TSUMEB - Bright PINK smithsonite crystals cover almost completely this specimen. Their size is up to 2-4 mm and form several clusters of crystals. Real nice 5x2x3.5 cm rock.
