This specimen hosts a perfectly terminated prismatic cordierite of 0.7 cm in size. The color is green/brown for a coating of pinite. Very nice ! overall size is 3x3x2.5 cm. Weight is 30 gr.

Facciatoia, San Piero, Isola Elba, Livorno, Italy - An old specimen from the historical quarry of Facciatoia, now defunct. There is a 0.4 cm terminated pink/red elbaite inside a cavity of the pegmatite vein. Lot of quartz crystals all around and a grey orthoclase. The grey color is a classic for Facciatoia.
