Rogerley mine, Frosterley, Durham Co., England - Very nice and esthetic fluorite specimen ! The rock hosts a number of cubic fluorites showing the classic green color under artificial light that becomes blue under the sunlight ! The main fluorite crystals is 1.7x1.3 cm on the edge and there are several others all around ! there are more than 2 dozens crystals here ! Among them there are dark black, with metallic luster, galena crystals of 0.5-0.7 cm on the edge. An old timer since this specimen has been aquired in the 2000 ! it comes with the original label from the mine. Overall size is 6x3.5x3.5 cm

An old timer since this specimen has been aquired in the 2000 ! most of the crystals are 0.8-1 cm on the edge and form a nice cluster that dominates the whole specimen. There are at least more than 3 dozens crystals here ! Among the fluorites athere are also some galena crystals of 1 cm on the edge, black in color. Very nice specimen ! it comes with the orihinal label from the mine. Overall size is 7x5.5x5 cm

San Piero, Isola Elba, Livorno, Italy - A classic combination specimen from the pegmatite areas of Isola Elba, Italy. This rock host several terminated schorl crystals up to 0.5-0.6 cm nicely located on cluster of quartz crystals. On the top of the cavity there is a beryl with a light blue color nicely located under the orthoclase ! nice specimen. Overall size is  7x6x3 cm.

Panasqueria Mine, Beira Baixa, Portugal - This specimen of muscovite is host to a group of color zoned crystals of apatite. This inky blue color is rare from Panasqueira. All but one of the crystals are complete. The back crystal is on the edge of the specimen and is about 80% complete. Overall size is 6.5x5.0x4.6 cm. Ex Luis Miguel Fernandez Burillo collection

ABBADIA SAN SALVATORE MINE, MONTE AMIATA, SIENA, ITALY - A quite large and heavy specimen mostly composed by cinnabar. The whole rock is covered by tiny, brilliant red crystals of cinnabar. Not easy to find such large old timer specimen from this well known locality ! The whole rock is 7.5x6x4 cm in size.

MONTE LABBRO, MONTE AMIATA, SIENA, ITALY - This specimen is from one of the old locations where cinnabar was extracted in ancient times. It is a cinnabar matrix completely covered by tiny micro cinnabar crystals. Quite heavy rock ! Overall size is 7x4x3.5 cm. It comes with old labels. Found in 1960.

Grotta d'Oggi, San Piero, Isola Elba, Livorno, Italy - Lot of minerals on the same rock ! Though the 1.5 cm long elbaite is incomplete, there are a lot of other uncommon minerals on this rock. Indeed other than to nice and well shaped orthoclases to 1 cm on the edge and quartz up to 1.5 cm, there various groups of bright metallic cassiterites and on several quartz crystals there are a lot of gemmy waterclear bubbles of opal var jalite. Very interesting rock of 7.5x4.5x3.5 cm
