Sharp metallic silver tetrahedrite crystals to 0.6 cm scattered nicely over a 5.0 x 5.0 x 2.0 cm  matrix with minor bournonite, quartz and chalcopyrite. In fine condition as seen. Cavnic Mine, Maramures County, Romania - A pinkish mass of interlocking pale pink flat manganoan calcite crystals partly coated with aggregates of tiny white calcite. The net effect is a mass of striped crystals. On the reverse shows the calcite being included to give a black and white effect. Really interesting piece.  An example of one of the Romanian classics and not often seen. Overall size is 8.6 × 5.9 × 5.2 cm.

Baia Sprie Mine, Baia Sprie, Romania - A sulphide covered matrix with abundant chalcopyrite sphalerite and galena has a pair of black wolframite crystals on top, with two generations of calcite covering. The main crystal is 1.2 cm in size. Woframite was found along with scheelite in the late 1990s - this is quite typical of the habit. The crystals are not that well terminated. Overall size is 5.5x3x2 cm.

Cava di Melis, Longobucco, Cosenza, Calabria, Italy - The recent new find of cordierite from Italy ! Probably the best and better defined crystals of cordierite vere found in Italy. This specimen hosts a perfectly terminated prismatic cordierite of 0.5 cm in size. The color is green/brown for a coating of pinite. Very nice ! overall size is 3x2.5x2.5 cm. Weight is 30 gr.
