PERTICARA MINE, PERTICARA, ITALY - An old specimen from a dismissed collection. This mine has been worked up to the early 60ies. Nowadays is closed forever due to toxic gas. The specimen has a lot of 0.4 cm sulfur crystals nicely located on a coating of terminated celestite crystals ! there are hundreds of 2-4 mm celestite crystals. Overall size is 8x4x7 cm.

CAMPO DI SASSO, BIBBONA, LIVORNO, ITALY - Large and heavy specimen mainly composed by sphalerite. This rock hosts several sphalerite crystals up to 1-1.2 cm among quartz crystals and small cubic galenas. There are also some tiny zinchenite acicular crystals. 7x8x4 cm

Pollone mine, Lucca, Italy - Partial quartz crystal with several acicular sterryite crystals crossing the quartz. The crystals are up to 0.4-0.6 cm. Overall size is 1.3x1.2x0.4 cm.

Valle Giove mine, Rio Marina, Isola Elba, Livorno, Italy - Large specimen with several bright pyrite pentagonododechahedrons. The crystals are all on hematite crystalline matrix and are up to 2 cm wide ! Some contact on the back of the specimen and minor damages on a small crystal in the front. A nice speciman from a classic locality, nice 10x5.5x3.5 cm

Asturias, Spain - A lot of cubic crystals of fluorite cover this specimen ! The whole rock is composed by fluorite that shows also with a lot of cubic crystals of 1 cm on the edge. As typical, most of the cubes show the "rounded" edge ! Very nice rock of 8x4.5x4 cm

Montevecchio mine, Iglesias-Carbonia province, Sardegna, Italy - This rock hosts a lot of cerussite crystals to the size of 1-1.3 cm. This material is quite scarce since this mine was closed in the early 70ies. Overall size is 8x5x4 cm
