Sweetwater  Mine, Missouri, USA - Colorless to very pale yellowish translucent semi-lustrous prismatic crystals of calcite to 3.7 cm in length set attractively over the top of a 9.5 x 5.5 x 5.0 cm pyrite, chalcopyrite, and dolomite crystal matrix. Very minimal micro-cleaving present, this is in very good condition and sits very nicely by itself for display.

JEFFREY MINE, ASBESTOS, QUEBEC, CANADA - Very nice specimen from this defunct locality. I had this specimen in my collection for a long time. There are hundreds of terminated vesuvianite crystals to 0.5 cm in size, showing yellow/violet color. There are crystals on every side of the rock ! overall size is 4.7x3.2x3 cm

Montgomery County Quarry, Mauldin Mt., Montgomery Co., Arkansas, USA - Glistening botryoidal green spherical shaped crystal groupings of wavellite to his 1.5 cm in diameter covering a 4.5 x 2.5 cm area upon this 6.0 x 5.5 x 3.0 cm matrix. In excellent condition and quite nice for the species. 

BUNKER HILL MINE, KELLOGG, IDAHO, USA - Nice cluster of green pyromorphite crystals covering the whole surface of the rock. The crystals size is from 0.2 to 0.7 cm. Showy!  2.5x1.8x1 cm

SAN BENITO GEM MINE, SAN BENITO CO., CA, USA - Quite large though not perfect benitoite crystal. The crystal is 1.1 cm in size on the edge and shows a nice blue color though it shows a damage on the top. Nevertheless a large crystal ! Overall size is 3x3x2 cm.

Elmwood mine, Smith Co., Tennessee, USA - Beautiful transparent purple cubic crystals of fluorite over the top of a thin 4.0 x 3.5 x 2.5 cm matrix.  Light micro-cleaving present along the lower back edges as seen in the photos. This will sit nicely by itself  for display and I think is in very good condition.

Dallas Gem Mine, Diablo Range, San Benito Co., California, USA - A single terminated lustrous black neptunite crystal measuring 2.7 cm in length set on the side of matrix. No damage. Overall size: 3.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm.  Ex Ralph Merrill collection

Stikine River, Wrangell Island, Wrangell-Petersburg Borough, Alaska, USA - This rock hosts several bright deep red well terminated almandines from the Alaska area ! The crystals are up to 1.5 cm in diameter ! Neat and showy rock of 5x3x3 cm in size

Jeffrey Mine, Asbestos, Les Sources RCM, Estrie, Quebec, Canada - "Cinnamon" Grossulars from Jeffrey are known for their unique orange color, gemminess, top luster and superb "textbook" form. Here we have a nice specimen from this hisoric mine featuring good quality, sharp, lustrous, orange color, gemmy, dodecahedral crystals of Grossular which measure up to 6 mm on blue Chalcedony (according to the label) on matrix. This material is no longer being found as the Jeffrey Quarry is completely defunct and will not produce these specimens again. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#5647). Overall size is 4x4x2 cm

Henderson No. 2 Mine, Chibougamau, Quebec Province, Canada - Lustrous twinned Cubanite crystals and colorless gemmy Calcite on a matrix of sulphides and Calcite.  The largest Cubanite crystal measures 5 mm. Very nice specimen of  3.5x2.5x1.5 cm in size. Ex Arkane collection.
