BERYL var MORGANITE

Basha Valley, Skardu District, Northern Areas, Pakistan - A nice delicately coloured pink centre, blue edged prism of beryl attached to a feldspar and muscovite matrix. This beryl is a "light" pink morganite of 1.2 cm. Overall size is 2.7x2.3x1.3 cm.

PAK-C35

ELBAITE

Chamachu, Baltistan, Pakistan - Two attached terminated bicolour blue crystals of tourmaline, the largest is 1.5 cm long. The standing crystal shows a nice pale blue zone termination, the side crystal not so good, has been curved by stresses in growth. A little albite is attached, no damage. Overall size 2.3x1.5x1 cm.

CERUSSITE CLUSTERS

Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia - This specimen hosts a great abundance of bright cerussite crystals up to the size of 0.8-1 cm. There are more than 2 dozens crystals, nicely dispersed all over the surfaces of the matrix ! Amazing specimen of 3.5x3.5x2 cm. Ex D. Weinrich collection.

AZURITE

Tsumeb mine, Tsumeb, Namibia - Great abundance of bright blue azurite crystals are on this specimen. There are 2 dozens crystals here up to the size of 1 cm on the edge ! Real great showy azurite specimen of 3.5x3x1.5 cm. Ex Trinity Mineral Collection.

CUPRIAN-SMITHSONITE

Tsumeb Mine, Otavi Highlands, Namibia - A vuggy chert matrix has several pockets and areas covered with cuprian smithsonite. There are three habits in three larger pockets shown in the photos. Overall size of the rock is 6.5x5.4x3.2 cm. Ex Warren Taylor Collection.
