This specimen has hundreds of crystals of brown/yellowish barite up to the size of 3x3 cm ! ![]() ![]() ITA-E78 SULFUR on ARAGONITE Cozzodisi mine, Agrigento, Sicily, Italy - From the land of sulfur, this specimen shows nicely with a very well shaped undamaged sulfur crystal of 1.5x1.7 cm. The crystals has a great color and sits on a small aragonite matrix with some other partial sulfur crystals. There is natural bitumen on the matrix, as typical of the specimens from this mine. It produced the most beautiful celestine specimens ! This is a very nice small combination specimen: celestine and sulfur.
