Varaita Valley, Cuneo Province, Piedmont, Italy - Very fine epidote crystals up to 1.5 cm. on a white base of albite crystals. The green of the epidotes are a showy view on the white albite coating of crystals ! the albites are up to 0.5-0.8 cm. An excellent example of alpine epidote association. Overall size is 9 × 4 × 2.55 cm

Alchuri Village, Shigar, Northern Areas, Pakistan - Nice cluster of epidote crystals. The crystals have grown such as faden quartz. The epidotes are up to 1.5 cm wide and 2 cm tall.
