Jeffrey Mine, Asbestos, Les Sources RCM, Estrie, Quebec, Canada - "Cinnamon" Grossulars from Jeffrey are known for their unique orange color, gemminess, top luster and superb "textbook" form. Here we have a nice specimen from this hisoric mine featuring good quality, sharp, lustrous, orange color, gemmy, dodecahedral crystals of Grossular which measure up to 6 mm on blue Chalcedony (according to the label) on matrix. This material is no longer being found as the Jeffrey Quarry is completely defunct and will not produce these specimens again. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#5647). Overall size is 4x4x2 cm

Henderson No. 2 Mine, Chibougamau, Quebec Province, Canada - Lustrous twinned Cubanite crystals and colorless gemmy Calcite on a matrix of sulphides and Calcite.  The largest Cubanite crystal measures 5 mm. Very nice specimen of  3.5x2.5x1.5 cm in size. Ex Arkane collection.

Sweetwater Mine, Viburnum Trend District, Reynolds Co., Missouri, USA - Glassy yellow mostly gemmy prismatic, double terminated, crystals of calcite measuring to 5.3 cm in length set nicely upon matrix. One cleaved crystal termination at the extreme far right edge of the matrix, this away from the piece, as seen. The prominent crystal is in excellent condition. Measures 9.0 x 5.0 x 3.0 cm.

Thomas Range, Juab County, Utah, USA - Very nice bright bixbyite crystal of 0.5 cm on the edge shows on riolite matrix. The crystal is pristine and shows no damage ! Showy rock of 5x2.7x2.3 cm in size. Ex Arkane Collection, original label.

Cross cut creek, Yukon, Canada - Well defined and terminated augelite crystals show up on this specimen. There are a large amount of perfect augelites up to 0.7 cm in size with a nice transparent light green color. Very showy specimen of 5.5x5.5x3.5 cm

California, USA - A very nice gold speciemn ! The rock has well visible gold wires emerging from the quartzite matrix ! There is a lot of gold wires here ! The color is bright and the wires are 0.6 cm long ! Very nice and rich specimen !! Overall size is 2.2x2x1.5 cm

Juab Co., Utah, USA - A super thumbnail ! On a small piece of matrix with several topaz crystals, up to 0.5 cm, there is a super biterminated topaz gem crystal 2.5 cm long ! No damage ! In addition there is a great bright black bixbyite crystal close to it. A very esthetic thumbnail of 2.8x1.5x1.3 cm

There is a perfectly terminated apatite crystal 1.5 cm long that shows up from the the magnetite crystals. The magnetites are up to 1 cm, all with nice terminations. Showy specimen.

Linwood Mine, Buffalo, Scott Co., Iowa, USA - Glassy gemmy transparent terminated orthorhombic barite crystal set up free and clear from a limestone matrix. Measures 6.5 x 3.5 x 3.0 cm. In perfect condition and complete all-around. Excellent for the species at this locality. Overall size is  6.5 x 3.5 x 3.0 cm

Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee, USA - A very nice golden brown terminated crystal of calcite showing the classic scalenohedral habit. There is with a little sphalerite matrix. The terminations are good, though there is a small cleave to the very tip. Super clarity of the calcite ! Overall size is 7.2 × 5.8 × 3.2 cm. Weight is 135 gr
