Wessels Mine, North Cape Province, South Africa - This is a beautiful Rhodochrosite specimen from Wessels Mine. This very fine little specimen has a nice pink color. The specimen was trimmed with a trim saw at the bottom. It shows various rhodochroste spheroids and the main one is 0.7 cm in diameter. Real fine specimen from South Africa ! Overall size is 4.5 × 3.5 × 2.8 cm

Sakavalana pegmatite, located 25 km south of the village of Mandosonoro, SW of Antsirabe, Fianarantsoa province, Madagascar - Terminated bright pink crystal of pezzottaite on matrix. The crystal is 0.3 cm in size and shows well emerging from the book of violet lepidolite. Very nice. Overall size is 4x3.5x2.5 cm

Sakavalana pegmatite, located 25 km south of the village of Mandosonoro, SW of Antsirabe, Fianarantsoa province, Madagascar - On this small pegmatite matrix a perfectly biterminated 0.4 cm pezzottaite crystal shows nicely with its bright pink color ! A nice small rock of 1.7x1.5x1.5 cm

Sakavalana pegmatite, located 25 km south of the village of Mandosonoro, SW of Antsirabe, Fianarantsoa province, Madagascar - Terminated bright pink crystal of pezzottaite of 0.3 cm in size. There are some other smaller pezzottaites in a cavity close to this main crystal. All around albite and some terminated liddicoatites ! overall size is 3.3x2x1.6 cm.

Sakavalana pegmatite, located 25 km south of the village of Mandosonoro, SW of Antsirabe, Fianarantsoa province, Madagascar - Very rich specimen ! There are a lot of pezzottaite crystals up to 0.3 cm and all are nicely located on the large albite crystals. The pezzottaites show a nice bright gemmy pink color. Very esthetitc. Overall size is 4.5x4x3 cm.

N'Chwaning II Mine, Northern Cape Province, South Africa  - Distinctive cluster comprised of about a dozen smaller radial clusters of the tan variety of Olmiite.
The individual Olmiite crystals range up to about .7 cm in length, with the smaller clusters ranging up to 1.4 cm across. The Olmiites have excellent luster, and most of the radiating crystals have flat, square, lustrous terminations, which serve to create the surfaces of the balls. A very good, representative specimen from the type locality. Overall size is 2.5 x 1.9 x 1.7 cm. Ex Rob Lavinsky collection.

Tsumeb Mine, Otavi Highlands, Namibia - Numerous egg-yolk-yellow elongeted crystals of mimetite perched on similar coloured glistening smithsonite. The mimetites are up to 0.7 cm and show as razor sharp, high lustrous and hexagonal in cross-section. The smithsonite is also sharp edged and becomes a greyish to pale pinkish colour in its periphery. Overall size is  3.4 × 2.8 × 3.3 cm. Ex Wendel Minerals collection
